Whew! Busy, Busy.....

Holy Hector has it been crazy lately......trying to put things together for my first book, a new healthy eating & workout regime, work, the playoffs - NUTS!

Anyway, here's my take on Super Bowl XLIII (that's 43 in Roman Numerals!! LOL)

Pitt has the "D", experience and Big Ben.....BUT

Arizona is playing like a team POSSESSED. I've taken them throughout the playoffs and to my amazement, no one else gave them a chance any of those times. I think they can score early and hang on for the win - or at least, the cover! LOL

Besides, I'm from the SW Side of Chicago - and that's where the Cardinals were born....

AFC-NFC Championship Sunday!

Possibly one of my most favorite days of the year - actually better than Super Bowl Sunday, because there are TWO games and they're usually more exciting than the SB!! Time for a little prognostication:

PHL @ AZ

Say what you want about Philly & their defense, it all comes down to two guys - Donovan & Andy. If Donovan gets down, the offense will suffer. If Andy gets dumb, ditto. The AZ defense likes to blitz, running the ball won't be so easy. Call me kooky, but so far in these playoffs I see a team that's CRAZY inspired and playing kick-ass football. I'll take Fitz & Q over Baskett & Headcase this time....

Not an easy game to pick, who knows which Ben will show up? I've seen this guy look like Johnny Unitas and Johnny Suckjob, sometimes in the same game. The networks & announcers LOVE him. Me, not so much. Looks like the Ravens got a chip on their shoulder, too. Their offense needs to punch harder than a cheerleader this game, but their defense is what can win it for them. This should be a low-scoring affair.

of course, this is all just speculation, but if you're a betting man, I would seriously consider taking all the points Sunday - good luck! This year, the Super Bowl is for the BIRDS!

I watched "The Devil Wears Prada" this past weekend, and I got to tell you - I'm totally crushing on Anne Hathaway. This woman is gorgeous, those lips of hers must be like Heaven to kiss....shear shrimp!
